This product is designed for mothers who are physically unable to breastfeed due to sore, cracked nipples, and should only be used in the meantime before returning to breastfeeding once the nipple has healed. If you are able to breastfeed successfully and are experiencing minor discomfort, we suggest that you use traditional nipple shields as a preventative alternative if your nipples become sore and painful.

Cleaning and care
Wash before and after each use. Although dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing with warm, soapy water, rinsing and drying thoroughly. Do not use any detergents or bleach tablets to sterilize or clean your Haakaa products. To sterilize, use a steam sterilizer or boil in water for 2-3 minutes.
Warnings: Check the condition of the product regularly. Replace the product if this product shows any signs of damage. Do not store near sharp objects. Only use a soft brush or sponge to clean this product as harsh cleaners may scratch the surface. Children can choke on small objects if left unattended. This product is not a toy. Do not use this product for any purpose other than its intended purpose. Store the product in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight. Excessive stretching may cause tearing.
This product is designed for mothers who are physically unable to breastfeed due to sore, cracked nipples, and should only be used in the meantime before returning to breastfeeding once the nipple has healed.
