How to use
Can be refrigerated, frozen, or heated. Use for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time. Always check the temperature of the compress before use.
Refrigerated: Refrigerate for at least one hour before use. Insert each pad into a cotton sleeve before applying it to your skin.
Frozen: Store in the freezer for at least one hour before use. Once frozen, insert each pad into a cotton sleeve before applying it to your skin. Do not apply frozen compression pads directly to the skin, as this may cause frostbite.
Heated:
Hot Water Method - We recommend heating your pads by carefully immersing them in hot water for 3-5 minutes. Do not use boiling water. Drain the water before removing the pads. Once heated, handle the pads carefully and insert each one into a cotton sleeve before applying them to your skin. Do not apply heated compression pads directly to the skin, as this may cause burns.
Microwave Method - Please be aware that microwaving compresses can cause uneven heat distribution. Place the compresses on a clean, dry plate in the microwave for 20 seconds, then in five-second increments if necessary. Ensure the compress does not touch the walls or ceiling of the microwave as it rotates. The microwave's circular bowl must be able to rotate throughout the heating cycle. Once heated, handle the compresses with care and insert each one into a cotton sleeve before applying them to your skin. Do not apply heated compression compresses directly to the skin, as this may cause burns.
