New moms go through a lot of change, and it’s worth having a recovery routine to recharge your batteries. In addition to the physical changes, this stressful and delicate time can also lead to anxiety, mood swings, and difficulty sleeping, making postpartum self-care so important. Inspired by this difficult experience, we created our herbal sitz bath blend, combining soothing herbs and mood-boosting botanicals to help restore mental and physical well-being.
How to use
When using a sitz bath, add 1 ounce to 3/4 full of warm water (or follow your sitz bath instructions). Allow several minutes for the mixture to dissolve and the fragrances to soak in before using. If using a bathtub, add 4 ounces to 3-4 inches of warm water. Soak for 10-20 minutes, adding more warm water as needed. You can use our sitz bath salt 2-3 times daily or as suggested by your healthcare provider.
Please note: Water getting into the wound may cause pain initially, but this pain should subside over time. If you have stitches or are concerned about pain, please follow your healthcare provider's instructions.
